Navarro López Family conquers Austria

The prestigious wine competition Austrian Wine Challenge has awarded 7 of the family wines. Hard work on two of their historical Denominations of Origin (Valdepeñas and Ribera del Duero) and the most recent one (Toro) has been recognized.

The 7 medals received in this last contest, Austrian Wine Challenge, are the following:

  • D.O. Ribera del Duero

Barón de Navarro Tempranillo 2014 – Gold Medal

Barón de Navarro Roble 2013 – Silver Medal

Barón de Navarro Crianza 2012 – Silver Medal

With these three medals, the whole Ribera del Duero range is awarded, the same as other family ranges like Premium 1904 or Don Aurelio.

  • D.O. Valdepeñas

Calle Real Crianza 2012 – Silver Medal

Calle Real Gran Reserva 2009 – Silver Medal

These two wines are, without a doubt, the germ on which the family began its expansion. These prizes can be considered the acknowledgement of the winery’s tradition, that started in 1904.

  • D.O. Toro

Finca Lara Roble 2013 – Gold Medal

Finca Lara Crianza 2011 – Silver Medal

These two awards ratify that the first wines of Denomination of Origin Toro match the quality of the winery’s large portfolio (that will be soon expanded due to the market’s demand).

With these 7 medals the awards success collection of 2015 continues. In this year, Navarro López Family is equally receiving the applause of both the public and the critics that value the great effort that the family is doing in the winemaking of the different Spanish Denominations of Origin.
